GRAHAME CONLON

Born and raised in Newcastle.
Left home at 20 years of age to tour with Normie Rowe's band in 1968.
Settled in Sydney for a few years then hit the road again with a pop group which ended up in Adelaide where he stayed for 10 years discovering the jazz world and also the " professional " side of music. (studio work, television, theatre shows etc.)


Moved back to Sydney in 1980 to join Ricky May's band for a year and fell into the jazz scene here.


Has played in the bands of Billy Field, Keith Hounslow, Tom Baker, Anita Thomas and is in demand as a freelance jazz guitarist. Has played at just about every jazz festival in Australia and toured overseas.
